Landsvirkjun's applications for power plant permits: Hvammsvirkjun and Sigölduvirkjun

The National Energy Authority has advertised Landsvirkjun's applications for power plant licenses for the 95 MW Hvammsvirkjun station in Þjórsá and for the expansion of the Sigöldu station in Ásahreppur and Rangárþing Ytra.

Advertisements for the applications were published in Lögbirtingablaðið on May 17, 2024, where interested parties are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the applications and provide comments within four weeks from the publication of the advertisements, or until June 14, 2024.
